Joyce Conlon’s paintings have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the Northeast and abroad, including Hampden Gallery at the University of Massachusetts, Galleria Centar in Podgorica, Montenegro, and Edward Lear Gallery in Berat, Albania.
Additionally, her work is in private collections in the United States and the permanent collections of the Regional Museum in Satu-Mare, Romania and Edward Lear Gallery in Berat, Albania. Ms. Conlon is the recipient of grants from the University of Hartford and the Vermont Studio Center. She has also been awarded residencies from the Vermont Studio Center and the 11th Annual Symposium of Contemporary Artists in Carei, Romania. She has taught drawing and painting at Mt. Wachusett Community College in Gardner, MA. Ms. Conlon holds degrees from Pratt Institute, the University of Massachusetts and Hartford Art School. The mother of two nearly grown children, Joyce resides in Marin County with her husband and two cats.
