Bill Russell is a painter, illustrator and visual journalist. He earned his degree from Parsons School of Design. He has exhibited his paintings widely, many of which can be found in private collections in Canada and the U.S. For 8 years, Bill was an adjunct professor of illustration at the California College of the Arts. He has had residencies at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley and Recology in San Francisco. In 2022, Bill had a solo show of iceberg paintings and installations called Ice Show at the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art. He is a former native of Toronto and New York and now lives in Lucas Valley in a restored Eichler home.
